Gene Pierson has over 20 years experience as a practicing attorney in the United States and Canada. He started his legal career in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada working for one of the highest rated firms in Alberta. After visiting Oregon on vacation, he fell in love with this beautiful state and moved to Salem in 1992 with his wife and 2 young children. After being admitted to the Oregon State Bar he started practicing law in Portland with a well respected firm there. In 2002 Gene decide to start his own law firm and has offered friendly and experienced legal advice to clients ever since. Gene’s practice is focused mainly in the areas of real estate, foreclosure, construction, collections, and business law.
In addition to his legal career, Gene has had significant real life experience in real estate as an agent, principal broker and investor; in construction as a subcontractor and general contractor; and in business as a business owner and entrepreneur. This gives Gene a unique perspective in understanding his client’s needs and allows him to more competently represent them in legal matters.
Gene did his undergrad in business at the University of Alberta and obtained his law degree from the law school there in 1987. He was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1992.
Mostly Gene enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren. He played basketball and football on scholarship when he attended college and still enjoys many sports including rounds of golf when he has the chance.
